Jaxon is a “trouble student” who can recite rap lyrics word-for-word. Alexis is a quiet third grader who never does her work, but constantly writes in her personal journal. Stephanie is always late to school and never has her supplies – she also NEVER stops asking questions. What do all of these students have in common? They’re gifted! Driven by the conceptual framework of Frasier’s Four A’s and the Traits, Aptitudes, and Behaviors (TABs), this interactive presentation will encourage participants to combat deficit mindset and recognize giftedness in diverse populations.
