Led by a former National Poetry Slam champion turned teacher, secondary humanities teachers will be introduced to a performance poetry curricular unit with proven strategies for guiding students to develop "voice," shape their legacies, and advocate for social justice issues with authority and courage. All teaching materials will be provided.
